The CB088 cable is connectivity solution by ABRITES for directly connecting to 7G-Tronic transmission control units VGS2/3/4-0 NAG2 (FBS3/FBS4 generation) via CAN BUS.
This cable connects the TCU with AVDI (ABRITES Vehicle Diagnostic Interface) via a DB25 connector, and to a 12V power supply adapter, required for the procedure, via a DC connector.

Functionality:

• Connection between VGS2/3/4-0 NAG2 TCUs (FBS3 and FBS4 gen) via CAN BUS

Supported vehicles:
ALL Mercedes vehicles with

• VGS2 NAG2 TCU
• VGS3 NAG2 TCU
• VGS4-0 NAG2* TCU

In order to work with VGS2 NAG2 and VGS3 NAG2 TCUs, an AVDI with basic software and active AMS is required. 12V power supply adapter is also needed.

*For working with VGS4-0 NAG2 TCUs we recommend using the SET088 7G-Tronic VGS4-0 NAG2 FBS4 Solder-Free Connection Set, which contains the CB088 cable for guaranteed success and stable connection. In this case, you also need the MN035 VGS4-NAG2 FBS4 Virgin/Personalization via ABPROG software license.
ABRITES Vehicle Diagnostic Interface (AVDI) with active annual subscription is required to use the full functionality of this product.

The warranty period for this hardware product is 6 months from the date of purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
